DevilCase for Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Review

After a long time of waiting for it to come, DevilCase (A Taiwan based company) is now selling an aluminum case for Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. They've been selling the same quality case for different brands of mobile phones (e.g Samsung, HTC, Asus, iPhone etc.) including previous Sony Xperia phones such as Xperia Z1/Z1 Compact, Z2 and the latest Xperia Z3. And now, for the Xperia Z3 Compact, so let's get into the review. (But wait, before we continue, I'd like to thank Bentahang OEM for gadgets (OLX Page) for a smooth transaction).

PACKAGING
The box comes in a neat and clean package showing some details regarding the case. In the front, the actual case can be seen with the addition of a synthetic back leather cover. (Please do not mind the photos if they don't contain the case, I have taken those images too late).

CONTENTS
The package contains the following: The bumper case itself (locked tight via two allen screws), a Synthetic leather back cover, Two(2) spare allen screws, a allen screwdriver, and a support plate for the charging dock. The support plate has a sticky paper on its back to secure its position on the charging dock. Please take note that the charging dock shown is the original dock for Z3 series (Sony DK48 Magnetic charging dock). ASSEMBLY
Getting the case on the phone is pretty straight forward. First, unlock the case via the provided allen screwdriver, then align it with the phone and lock it tight back. As for the phone owners who are wondering if the case will go with tempered glass installed on both front and back of the phone, yes, it will have no problems. Also, if you are wondering about shocks, the insides of the case have thin rubber padding to absorb outside shocks to protect the phone (Drop test? you are welcome to do it XD) Note: If you have installed a tempered glass on the back of your phone, and you want to install the leather back cover provided, you need to remove the tempered glass first because the leather cover will not fit properly.

COMPLETION
The final product. I have to say that the case is very well crafted. The buttons work flawlessly without any problems, no wireless interference happens and best of all, It looks very AWESOME!

EXTRA INFO
The case works as intended, but for the sake of science and curiosity (Is it?) I also installed the synthetic back leather cover. And for your happiness, here's what it looks like (Spoiler alert: Jaw-dropping)

VERDICT
A very great product! The lightweight and strong construction of this bumper case makes it a very reliable protection for your phone, and also, makes it more very attractive to the eyes (of thieves, LOL!). If you want to buy one and you live in the Philippines, you can buy one from the link I posted earlier, but if you live in the U.S or other countries, either Amazon or E-Bay is your friend. The price? The Philippine price costs around PHP 1,800 (around $42), while the price on Amazon is around $53 (If you live in the states). Its pricey, yes, but you will be paying for a high quality product.
