PACKAGING
The product comes in a very small white colored box. The front shows the actual product drawn in detail, the certification of Quick Charge 3.0, and the model number. The left side of the box shows some information regarding Quick Charge 3.0 while the right side of the box shows a "Go Green With Tronsmart" text. The back shows more information regarding the product and the company.
CONTENTS
The box contains the Dual USB Port Car Charger (Quick Charge 3.0 Certified, with VoltIQ Technology) wrapped in matte plastic, a card explaining the VoltIQ Technology, and a Feedback card which contains some information if you want to give feedback on the product itself (or their other products)
PRODUCT REVIEW
The product is well made with plastic. The metal parts are very solid and have a good spring resistance. The Dual USB Ports are color coded green (Indicating Quick Charge 3.0 Technology). The front side of the product shows the Tronsmart logo (Embedded in bold text), While the back of the product shows a more detailed info regarding the product. It shows some Quality Control info embedded and some text which shows the product model (CC2TF in this case), an electrical input of DC 12-24V/4.2A (Max), and an electrical output of DC 3.6-6.5V/3A, 6.5-9V/2A, and 9-12V/1.5A on each USB Port.
For the charging speed, since it has VoltIQ Technology, almost every device that charges via USB port can use this charger and have its battery charged quickly, and of course, safely. The Quick Charge 3.0 Technology will charge any compatible device much faster, and do take note that this is backwards compatible with devices that support Quick Charge 2.0 and below, so if you don't own a QC 3.0 compliant device yet, don't fret, this will work just fine and of course, knowing that it has the latest Qualcomm Charging technology, you are future ready.
EXTRA INFO
By the time the product arrived, I was very eager to test it on my SUV, until, an unprecedented event happened, I dropped it, and to my surprise, it broke, but not literally. What happened was it broke into two(2) pieces (The plastic case was locked via plastic little inserts, The center metal prong flew along with the spring that supports it, the side metal prongs was also disassembled). its like a Lego masterpiece shattering into pieces. So, was it broken? No, What I did was I searched for all the parts and assembled it, then, I proceed to test it, and guess what, It still works, hahaha.
VERDICT
Yes, the build quality was not up to standards, but it can be resolved earlier via some super glue (Which I haven't done yet, but will do), what I suggest is, take care of handling it and not to drop it. And it still worked after what happened, I will still give it a thumbs up in terms of portable Car Charger. Also, it is quite cheap for its specs, around $18 on the U.S which is the same price here in the Philippines.
