Romoss Polymos 10S 10000mAh Powerbank Review

Romoss Polymos 10S 10000mAh Powerbank
We have been presented with so many options since mobile devices came to our lives. Big displays, faster internet modems, DSLR like cameras and so much more. But we all know that our devices also rely on batteries, which in time, age and no longer works with our needs.

Fret not! Many companies are now creating devices with larger batteries to fill our 'Digital' needs, some are also capable to charge other phones! But we know that there is always an exchange for something, and for a larger capacity battery, it needs more space to occupy, and most people don't like bulky devices.

That's where mobile and portable power banks come in. Different shapes, sizes, and battery capacities ready to fill our devices with juice when and wherever we need them. Yes, they are portable, but, sometimes, we need to charge our devices faster, and fast charging usually comes from AC Adapters, not power banks.

So, with all that in mind, we present this product from a company called ROMOSS. It is a power bank with Quick Charge 2.0 Technology which can charge compatible devices much faster! Read on to learn more!

PRODUCT REVIEW
The power bank is colored in matte white on the top, with the ROMOSS logo embedded in it, while on the lower right has a battery indicator (more info later). The back of the device (along with the sides) is colored in Sky Blue (quite clean in my opinion). It also shows some technical information about the power bank.

As stated earlier, the lower right of the front of the power bank has a battery indicator. It has four orange LED lights which is basically a division of the battery capacity (about 2500mAh per LED light). 75% to 100%, Four lights, 50% to 74%, Three lights, and so on.

The lower right side of the power bank (while facing it, parallel to the battery indicator), contains a Button which acts as a Switch (to turn-on the power bank) and also a battery checker (press it, and the battery indicator lights up). While the right side of the device contains a micro USB port (to charge the power bank), and two(2) USB ports. Both USB ports has a mini lightning icon which indicates the power output of the USB port next to it. The port with the two(2) lightning icons indicate an output of 5V (2.4A), while the one with the three(3) lightning icons indicate an output of 5V/9V (2A) and 12V (1.5A), and yes, if you noticed it, the latter is a Quick Charge 2.0 port. It is also indicated via a blue/dark green USB port (see image below).

Now that we're done with some specs and physical characteristics, let's get down to the real deal, performance.

I have tested this product a couple of times, especially during some of my vacations and I can say that it performs well (especially the Quick Charge Technology). What I really liked about this is that, It has an "Auto Off" function, which means no overcharging for any device that you charge with it. I have tested the feature on my iPhone 6 and Sony Xperia Z5 and I must say that I feel comfortable knowing that my mobile phone's battery will not be harmed.

VERDICT
I highly recommend this product for travelers. I know, why would you buy a 10K mAh power bank if there are 20K mAh power banks available in the market? Well, first of all, think of this, the larger the battery, the longer it takes to recharge it (which is the same case with powerbanks), secondly, this one has Quick Charge capabilities which are very rare (on time of writing), and lastly, the "Auto Off" feature is a big YES for people who want their device's battery to last longer.
